FRAME AND FORK REQUIRED

Postby Graeme S » Mon May 02, 2011 6:53 pm

Following an unhappy day out at the Mayday Gallup I am very much in the market for a race frame and forks. Depending on manufacturer it could be 55-58cm or equivalent, ideally 56-57cm. Carbon all round please. I know several people have been selling f + f but these may have gone (Derek? Malcy?). Alternatively, if you have such a thing and are thinking of upgrading, now might be a good time to find a willing buyer.... PM me.

G - Heard about your crash last night, tough luck! If your looking for a cheap carbon frame Planet X are doing the superlight pro carbon for £399. In the meantime if you need of a spare frame for training etc I have a 56cm Alloy Trek you can have.

Cheers

Thanks Brian that is really kind of you. I will be making a payment to Scrooge (Ihear him rubbing his hands already) so I can put my best bits on a club bike until I get sorted, so no need to borrow your Trek. But thanks for the offer, under other circumstances I'd have been really glad of it. I would like to take a spin on your Planet X ,as this is one of the options I am looking at! Maybe do this on Saturday, if my scabs allow me to race? Cheers!

Who brakes in the pace line? Answer: someone in gp 4 on Monday at Fawkurk. No idea who or why, but it was passed backwards through the line to the first person with nowhere to go (me) and the two riders behind. 1 broken collar bone, one knackered bike, three sets of ripped kit etc

Something to kick your ass on :D

Except in the sprint

And that's not the bike's fault.

That's genes.
